Palma de Mallorca 365 ... days a year

Palma de Mallorca is one of the most beautiful cities in the Mediterranean and its cathedral is one of the most visited cathedrals in all of Europe.

The shops are second to none and the variety and quality of restaurants along the sea front and in the city centre is a gastronomic delight for any food connoisseur. From April 2012 the council has given permission for shop to stay open on Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday for the first time. At the moment it is permitted only from April to October but the shop keeper;s are calling for it to allowefd 365 days a year.

Of course, the big attraction is the wonderful Mediterranean climate all the year round and that chance to get away from the cold and damp of winter in the UK and Ireland. It makes an ideal base for people wanting to visit the beauty of the entire island of Mallorca and is also an ideal base for golfers wishing to play some of the 25 or more courses on the island. And of course, on our doorstep is action from La Liga, one of Europe's foremost soccer leagues, as Real Mallorca play their home games in Palma.

And Palma is not just a winter destination but is also very popular in the summer months - in fact it truly is Palma de Mallorca 365.
